CHAOS  

A collaboration module from Caos Modular & Spectral Modular with the working title "JALEO" could be shortly described as a chaotic cv-generator. It is a 6hp chaos modulator with lots of unpredictable modulation outputs. The heart of it is a classical jerk circuit that generates complex, non-repeating waveforms. for sure it is slowed down so that it could be used in musical context.

The jerk circuit has three outputs (B1, B2, B3) that are taken from different stages of the circuit. The jerk could tamed down to nearly a sine and everything in between with the dedicated knob. Additional there are two chaos1 (falstad) inspired circuits that outputs two stages of the circuit each (A1, A2, C1, C2). The generated waveforms are running in circles and very between negative and positive values. (If you know the sloth by NLC, it's a similar behavior, not that slow and a bit more centered). They are influenced by the jerk circuit sometimes more, sometimes less. Could be also influenced by other signals through the dedicated influence inputs (INVA, INVC). All circuits are free-running without any sync. It is definitely a chaos modulation powerhouse. Exclusive only at Caos Modular and now Hylin Devices!
